Finally.. After a long time of searching for a way to do t-shirts that that wont cost me a fortune and not cost the buyer a fortune, aaannnd after years of having to deal with the lousy quality of CafePress (my opinion) t-shirts and stuff, I have finally found a way to deliver quality t-shirts.

The "other" way was some sort of copy transfer process which not only limited you to light colors, they printed light and didn't wash well. This new process is a digital process that actually prints with printing inks directly on the t-shirt and can print on any color cleanly, including black.. It is really nice.. I had printed myself a bunch of t-shirts for the New York City Comic-con with this company, and believe me.. after the whole cafepress thing, I tested these shirts.. you can pull on them, the colors are bright, and you can wash them.. many times..

For starters, I have a bunch of the Lil Fae up as women's t-shirts.. It is a time consuming process to get these together and up there so new t-shirt designs will be appearing regularly.. Maybe even some Lilz you haven't seen before ;)... Take a look... The site is still kind of rough, but it will be being updated as I go along. Shoot me an message or email and tell me what you think and are there any Lilz designs you would really like to see in the shop.. .

Soon it will be attached to the regular Lilz.com website.. Take a look:

Have I been neglecting my Lilz Blog? I guess I have but I am going to be working on this to be the place to go for information on Lilz and new items.

Coming in May, I have a fun new pack. Stylized after comicbook covers, (no there are no Lilz Comicbooks planned at this time), these Lilz are my own characters designed to look like comicbook characters. Sneak previews have been seen on my deviant art and Facebook pages. The New packs are going to be available at CILM in May.

New on the Lilz.net website in the store, there are some new original red pencil drawings for sale. These items are popular and sell fast. Get them before they are gone. I will be doing more but they are all different.

Coming to the store later today or tomorrow are convention prints. What are convention prints? They are 8.5x11 prints on a white thick paper with a mat finish. The inks are museum quality inkjet. The prints are usually used as an inexpensive item that people can buy at conventions and such to have something to have signed. Though I will be putting up selected images, requests can be made for me to make you a print of your favorite Lilz characters to be signed. Check the store out today.

Keep an on on this blog, subscribe to it. I will be making an effort to update it regularly, and it will be your best source for new and fun things.

Enjoy,
Joel Adams

Today in the San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ). Columnist Merk Madler wrote a really great little article about Lilz, and the protection of and future of the license. As the SFVBJ sells their magazine online and since the article is brand new I will only briefly summarise.

He wrote of my trying to start my own brand by using the Internet and the successes and headaches of using the Internet. The battles to protect my images and the protection I found under the umbrella of Creative Image Licensing and Management (CILM). Anthony Guerra, artist and owner of CILM spoke of my successes with the company and Lilz style.

They spoke to My Father, Neal Adams, who mentioned that not only was I following in a tradition of great artists who focused on the female form for their work, but.. I was making a living at it.

Finishing with me talking about where I am with, and the future of Lilz.

It is a really great little article. If you cannot get the paper, I believe through the online site, there is a small fee to read an article for non subscribers. The article is called "Big Bucks From Little Images Retail Apparel May Be Next" the Columnist is Mark Madler

A new Blog

I started, a while back, a "news" section on my website. It started out great.. but I would get busy and soon the gaps between posts would get longer and longer. until a year had gone by without a post.

Things are starting to get a little exciting here at Lilz.net, I thought maybe I would take another crack at this. I have already been working on a blog for some of my other work so I started another one.

Here you will find news about Lilz Licensing and any other news worthy ... Lilz info. Maybe a few sketches and works in progress as well. Coming soon will be an article about me from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. I have not seen it yet.. But I am excited. I will post more on it.. maybe eventually, the article.

I am still learning this whole blog thing, so bear with me while I figure it out and pretty this thing up if possible.

Enjoy!
